Welcome to your brand-new mountain retreat in Cherry Log, Georgia. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin was built for slowing down, with miles of mountain views, breathtaking sunsets, and plenty of space to spread out indoors and out.

The main level has a fully equipped kitchen with brand-new appliances, a dining room for up to six, and a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and large QLED Smart TV. The living room also has a Koala sleeper sofa that is comfortable enough for real overnight guests and converts to a queen bed. Just off the kitchen, the dining room is surrounded by windows, so you never miss that beautiful sunset (trust us, it never gets old).

The primary bedroom has a Brooklyn Bed Co Queen bed and an en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a Brooklyn Bed Co King bed and easy access to a closet.

Outdoors, the main-level patio is the spot for sunsets and mountain views. The main-level deck includes a bench-seat-for-two for enjoying your morning coffee and a Blackstone griddle for outdoor cooking. Downstairs, the 600+ sq ft lower deck has a hot tub, a gas fire pit, a cozy sectional sofa, a farmhouse table hand built in Ellijay, and family fun games.

The driveway fits 2-3 cars and has room to turn around - making for an easy trip back up the drive.

Stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet, so streaming, video calls, and remote work are no problem.

Guests have full access to the cabin, including both bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining rooms, the main-level patio, and the lower deck with the hot tub and gas fire pit. The driveway is also yours for parking.

Both bedrooms are set up for you to unpack and get comfortable, with a luggage rack and cabinets in each room. The guest bedroom has a closet for hanging clothes, and the primary bedroom has a wardrobe rack for the same purpose.

The only areas that are not available to guests are the primary bedroom closet and the unfinished basement.

Cherry Log is a small, quiet mountain community tucked between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, and Hidden Lake is one of its most peaceful corners, with paved roads, wooded surroundings, and mountain views. It's the kind of place where the loudest sound is crickets and the hardest decision is hot tub or fire pit.

You're also close to plenty to do. Downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay are both a short drive away, with boutique shops, farm-to-table dining, wineries, and seasonal festivals. A few local favorites:

Atlanta is about an hour and a half away, so the cabin works well for a weekend escape or a longer stay.

The cabin is in the Hidden Lake community in Cherry Log, between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, and a car is the best way to get around. Downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay are both a short drive away, and Atlanta is about an hour and a half away.

The driveway has room for 2-3 cars and space to turn around before going back up the drive. Hidden Lake has paved roads, and the community is not gated, so you can drive straight to the cabin. Your check-in message will include the full address and directions.

We recommend using apple maps to navigate. Mountain areas can have spotty cell service, so download our driving instructions before leaving. The cabin has Starlink Wi-Fi, so calls and messages work over Wi-Fi once you're inside.

The view is the reward for a little mountain driving! The property sits up a fully paved mountain road with some steep stretches, and the driveway is steep, and paved, too. Most guests find it easier to make their first trip up in daylight, so they can enjoy the scenery and get a feel for the road. You may meet a car coming the other way now and then, but there are plenty of pull-offs, and by your second trip it will feel like second nature.

No four-wheel drive or truck needed. Any regular vehicle does just fine, unless snow or ice is in the forecast. In that case, we recommend four-wheel drive. Trust us, it's worth it!
