Meet Your Hosts
Hello from Amber & Jesse!
We're thrilled to be your hosts! Our cozy log cabin is located in Cherry Log, GA, just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay, offering a perfect blend of comfort and convenience.
We currently live in South Florida with our two teenagers and our Mini Bernedoodle, Marlee. Upon visiting the area, we fell in love with the natural beauty, friendly people, and spirit of the area. We want others to experience the joy and rejuvenation of spending time away from it all in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Whether you're here for work or leisure, we hope you feel at home and enjoy everything the area has to offer. If you need anything during your stay, don't hesitate to reach out!

About the Cabin
Welcome to your brand-new mountain retreat set atop the ridge in Cherry Log, Georgia. This brand-new 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom log cabin was built to capture the expansive mountain views and breathtaking sunsets, and has plenty of space to spread out indoors and out.
Let stress melt away as you soak in the beauty of nature while enjoying the hot tub, getting cozy by the fire pit, or hanging out on one of the decks with your family and friends.
All of this is yours, with the convenience of shopping and dining in Blue Ridge, and lots of outdoor activities just minutes away. Enjoy!
House Rules
Please review and follow these rules during your stay.
1. Safety information
- Fire escape routes and the floor plan are posted.
- Fire extinguishers are located on each level of the home.
- Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed as required.
- Do not tamper with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, or safety signage.
2. Quiet hours
- Monday – Sunday, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Please respect neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.
3. Parking
- Parking is permitted in the driveway only. Do not park on the road, in grassy areas, or along easements.
4. Trash & refuse
- Trash collection: Sundays.
- All trash must be bagged and secured in the Husky receptacle, and must not be left in public view or along the driveway.
5. Occupancy
- Maximum occupancy: 6 guests.
- No unregistered guests unless previously authorized.
6. Prohibited conduct
- No disorderly conduct, excessive noise, or disturbances.
- No trespassing on neighboring properties.
- No discharge of firearms, lighting of fireworks, or uncontained fires.
- No parties or events unless previously authorized.
- No pets allowed.
7. Smoking & leave no trace
- No smoking inside the cabin or on the decks. Smoking is permitted only in the driveway or on the concrete landing.
- Please clean up after yourself. Do not leave trash, cigarette butts, or personal belongings outdoors.
8. High fire danger / burn bans
- Burn bans may be in effect. Check signage or local alerts before starting any fire.
- Violations may result in fines.

Trash & Septic
Garbage
Please place all trash bags in the black Husky bear box located on the driveway. Open it by unlatching the two carabiners. When you're done, re-attach and secure the carabiners so no wildlife can get into it!
Trash pickup is Sundays. There is no recycling service at this time.
Kitchen trash
Please discard all food debris, cooking oil, fats, grease, and coffee grounds in the trash. Do not dispose of anything solid down the drain, as we are on a septic system. Thank you!
Bathroom
Please do not flush any products other than toilet paper, even if they are labeled as disposable. The house is on a septic system. Do not flush baby wipes, feminine products, paper towels, makeup wipes, etc. Thank you!
Good to Know
We hope you will feel at home with the amenities we provide.
Television
The TV is a smart TV. The remote is on the coffee table.
Netflix / streaming
Log in with your personal account to use streaming services. Remember to log out when you leave!
Speaker
There is a Bluetooth speaker located in the living room.
Air conditioning / heating
The air conditioning unit is located to the left of the hallway entrance. Simply adjust the temperature using the wall panel to your comfort.
Coffee maker
Depending on your preference, we offer a Keurig and a drip coffee maker.
Fire pit
Please make sure to turn the propane tank OFF when you are done with the fire pit.
Washer / dryer
The washer and dryer are located off of the living room. Simply load your laundry, select your cycle, and enjoy fresh, clean clothes! Please keep the washer door open until fully dry.

Welcome to Blue Ridge, GA!
Welcome to the North Georgia area of Blue Ridge, GA, a small, upscale mountain getaway known for its cozy cabin getaways, beautiful scenery, outdoor activities, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and a charming downtown with shops and restaurants.
There's a lot to do in this area, so check out the local attractions and recommendations below. Blue Ridge has a wonderful visitor center if you'd like more guidance on the area. Have fun exploring!
Things to Do
Signature Blue Ridge attractions
Blue Ridge Scenic Railway — This beautifully restored historic train leaves from downtown, follows the Toccoa River, and stops at McCaysville/Copperhill before returning.
Historic Downtown Blue Ridge — Walk Main Street/East Main for boutiques, specialty shops, restaurants, art galleries, and the historic train depot.
Mercier Orchards — Huge local orchard and farm market, especially popular during apple season. U-pick and other farm activities vary seasonally.
Waterfalls
Amicalola Falls — The tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
Long Creek Falls — Located on the Appalachian Trail near Three Forks. It's a beautiful drive, then a one-hour hike there and back. There are several smaller falls along the way as well.
Sea Creek Falls — A peaceful 30-foot fall spills into a shallow pool.
Helton Creek Falls — A double waterfall that creates a perfect swimming spot! Easy hike, perfect for beginners and families.

The Lilly Pad Village — This family-oriented outdoor attraction in the Aska Adventure Area offers gem mining, mini golf, fishing, and a gift shop.
Expedition: Bigfoot! — A quirky indoor Sasquatch museum devoted to Bigfoot folklore and reported sightings.
Swan Drive-In Movies — An old-school drive-in movie experience and a longtime Blue Ridge tradition, especially appealing on summer evenings.
Zipline Canopy Tours — Set on 165 acres of beautiful property. Offers multiple options, including one-hour, two-hour, and kid zips.

Ingles has a pharmacy with a drive-up option. There's also Walmart, CVS, and independent pharmacies available in town.

Hot Tub
Hot tub disclaimer & safety rules — use at your own risk
All guests use the hot tub entirely at their own risk. The owners/property management assume no liability for any injuries, illness, health complications, or accidents resulting from the use of the hot tub.
Health & medical warnings
- Pregnancy & conditions: Pregnant women and individuals with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or any serious illness must consult a physician before using the hot tub.
- Alcohol & medications: Never use the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that cause drowsiness. Doing so can cause unconsciousness or a severe drop in blood pressure.
- Skin/illness: Do not use the hot tub if you have open wounds, infectious diseases, or skin irritations.
Time & temperature
- Maximum temperature: The hot tub temperature is set for your safety and must never exceed 104°F (40°C).
- Time limits: Limit your time in the hot tub to 15–20 minutes at a time. Prolonged immersion can cause hyperthermia (overheating), dizziness, or nausea.
Prohibited items & activities
- No glass: Absolutely no glassware or ceramic items are permitted in or around the hot tub area. Broken glass requires the hot tub to be completely drained and professionally cleaned.
- No contaminants: Do not add bubble bath, bath bombs, soaps, oils, or any other liquids to the water.
- Shower first: Please shower before entering to remove lotions, deodorants, and fake tanners, which clog the filtration system and cloud the water.
- No diving or roughhousing: No jumping, diving, or rowdy behavior is permitted.
Children & supervision
- Age restrictions: Children under the age of 5 are strictly prohibited from entering the hot tub.
- Adult supervision: Minors under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Property management rules
- Keep covered: The hot tub must remain securely covered and locked when not in use to maintain temperature and ensure the safety of children.
- Damages & cleaning fees: Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage to the hot tub, cover, or mechanical parts. If the hot tub requires emergency draining and refilling due to guest negligence (e.g., breaking glass, adding soap, or introducing heavy dirt), an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Before You Go
Laundry
Please strip all the beds and make a pile of used towels and linens near the laundry area. We request that you start a load of laundry before leaving.
Perishables & leftovers
Please discard any leftover food securely in the black trash receptacle on the driveway.
Keys
Please make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.
Dishes
Please rinse dishes, load them into the dishwasher, and start the cycle before you leave.
Lights
Please make sure all lights and electronics are turned off before you leave.
Personal belongings
Please make sure you are taking all of your personal belongings with you.
